Overview
I wrote content for Intuit Brasil's QuickBooks blog, targeting small business owners navigating finances, business management and tax bureaucracy. The goal was to position QuickBooks as the answer to those pain points, converting readers into leads or nurturing them into the lead base for future conversion.
Challenge
Intuit's audience needed practical, trustworthy guidance on finances and bureaucracy, not generic content. The blog needed writing that could make genuinely complex topics (taxes, business finance, compliance) accessible without oversimplifying them, while consistently tying that guidance back to how QuickBooks could help.
Approach
Content themes and briefs were defined by a content strategist; my role was to research and write against each brief, turning it into finished, publish-ready content. That meant translating dense financial and bureaucratic topics into language a small business owner, often without formal training in finance, could actually use.
What I did
- 01Researched and wrote roughly 60 SEO-focused articles for the QuickBooks Brasil blog, based on strategist-defined briefs
- 02Wrote 5 ebooks expanding on core topics in more depth
- 03Did independent research to ensure accuracy on financial and tax topics before writing
- 04Simplified complex bureaucratic and financial concepts into accessible, actionable content for a non-specialist audience
